The world in motion
Sports photography is a great way to capture the excitement and action of a sports match. It´s also a challenge for the photographer, as you need to capture moving subjects in a sharp image.
I don´t primarily shoot sporting events. A few times a year, however, I do manage to capture some of those athletes in motion through the viewfinder of my camera. For now, it was mainly football, which is the most accessible of all sports in my area. I have already managed four times and it was also a great honour to be part of the beautiful charity football tournament Trstěnice Open, which has already had 6 successful years. For the last four editions (2020, 2021, 2022, 2023) I have been providing the official photos of the tournament together with my colleague photographer. It was also a new photographic experience for me, as it is a full day shoot - a sort of "photo marathon".
