The goal of product (advertising) photography is to create photo that make the viewer want to buy the product.
Most of us encounter product or advertising photography when we need to sell something. In addition to a sophisticated advertising text, the success of selling a product will certainly be increased by a high quality photo. I am not going to sell apples, strawberries or other fruits, vegetables, etc. I just want to continuously improve my photography, so from time to time I will take some photos of "products" ;-).
